The Music Advocacy Group (MAG) champions and sustains music education in our public schools, with the support of music lovers on Orcas Island.

Our cardboard Chromebook is not much help for the music classrooms. Help us buy 30 Chromebooks and a charging cart for the new Music Wing so every student can access online music education tools like play tests and music notation exercises that will deepen their music skills.

Game Day alert: This Thu, Dec 12, is Unique Donor Day. Three non-profits with the most number of unique donors ($10min.) on this day will win an extra $$$ boost . Every little bit helps, from family and friends near and far!

**Matching Funds:  MAG Board members have pledged personal donations totaling $1200 (6 Chromebooks) as matching funds for donations to our ’30 Chromebooks/cart’ request in the GiveOrcas Holiday Catalog.

By partnering with the school and community, we can support a quality music program for all students. Volunteer, or donate online or via check to ‘MAG’ at P.O. Box 1171, Eastsound, WA 98245.  MAG is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Our signature Spring annual fundraiser is the single largest concert on Orcas island, where over 100 island musicians come together in a show of support for school music that has become an island tradition.

Now, the number of students choosing band and strings is growing tremendously and their performances at competition are winning regional recognition.  To reach greater heights, we need your continuing support for the Orcas Island Public School music program.
